Frequently Asked Questions

Due to the extensive time involved in creating custom cakes, we recommend a minimum of 2 weeks. Because we are a small bakeshop, availability is limited. It’s best to place your order as soon as possible. Three months or more is recommended for wedding cakes. We do the best we can to accommodate custom orders made within 2 weeks of the pickup date, however there are no guarantees for availability.

All orders require a non-refundable retainer equaling 50% of the total cost of the order in order to confirm your pickup date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the pickup date. If the full balance has not been paid 2 weeks prior to the pickup date and arrangements have not been made, the order will be cancelled and the retainer forfeit.

A $75 deposit is required to save your date. The deposit will count towards your final total. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. In addition to the deposit, a 50% down payment is expected 2 months prior to the wedding/event date. If this contract is signed within two (2) months of event date, 50% is due upon signing. Total contract price is due two (2) weeks prior to your wedding/event date.
In the event that the celebration is rescheduled or cancelled, accommodations can be made as long as the order hasn’t been started and the new pickup date is available. If the order has been started then there is no refund and the cake must be picked up on the agreed upon pickup date. For wedding cake orders, any cancellation made 2 weeks or more before the delivery date will result in a refund of the down payment minus the non- refundable deposit. There are no refunds for any cancellations made within 2 weeks of the delivery date.
We offer gluten free, eggless, nut free and dairy-free options upon request. We abide by all local food handling and storage guidelines in our licensed kitchen, however, these common allergens are still present and may pose a risk of cross contamination.

All of our custom celebration cakes are made to order specific to our client’s design requests. Pricing is dependent on the number of servings, flavor combination, and level of design. Here are general price and serving information; 4 inch (4-6 servings) start at $45+, 5 inch (6-8 servings) start at $65+, 6 inch (10-12 servings) start at $85+, 7 inch (16-18 servings) start at $115+, 8 inch (20-24 servings) start at $155+, 9 inch (30-32 servings) start at $210+,

Prices start at $8.50/slice and the total cost can vary depending on the final design. Fondant, wafer paper, gum paste work & any other elaborate detailing are an additional cost. All cakes are frosted in a swiss meringue buttercream. Other options are available upon request or may be recommended due to climate.
Wedding cake tastings are offered upon request. Please contact us for a list of flavors and pricing. If you book your wedding cake with us, the cost of the tasting is credited toward the cost of your wedding cake.
